The mounting holes are not pre-marked on the sign by default. You’ll need to add the hole positions yourself in the Design Studio if you want them included.
So yes, you do need to mark where you want the holes to be placed (and make sure they’re positioned for balance and stability).
Quick tip: keep the holes near the edges but not too close, and use holes that are at least 3/16 inch for signs 12 inches and taller.
